At Avyukta Intellicall, I was responsible for provisioning, hardening, and maintaining enterprise Linux instances running on Ubuntu Server. These instances hosted mission-critical telecommunications pipelines, real-time database clusters, and automated data backup systems requiring 99.9% availability.
2. Core Engineering Implementations
- Automated Backup Pipelines: Authored custom Bash scripts orchestrated via cron daemons that performed encrypted differential backups, generated SHA-256 integrity checksums, and dispatched completion logs.
- Security & Network Hardening: Configured strict UFW firewall policies, disabled root SSH logins in favor of key-based authentication, enforced Fail2Ban intrusion detection, and audited user permission groups.
- Systemd Service Management: Wrote custom unit files to manage Python background daemons, configuring automatic respawn on unhandled exceptions and journalctl log rotation.
- Resource Optimization: Monitored memory usage, disk I/O bottlenecks, and network buffer sizes to maintain smooth throughput under peak daytime call loads.
